Treat every person as if they were your own child

Humanity is the foundation of morality and law. Humanity begins with empathy so deep that you treat every person as if they were your own child. This kind of humanity is not only humane, but rational, because it produces the greatest tangible benefits. Treating others like garbage, like statistics, leads to negative consequences for everyone—and can come back as such a boomerang, such karma, that the consequences will be devastating.

Let's take a moment to reflect on some of today's problems, especially since we are constantly "putting out fires", responding to urgent requests from soldiers.

A large group of newly arrived soldiers, fresh out of basic military training, arrives at their unit's training ground to practice shooting down drones. They will soon be deployed to a dangerous area and need to learn at least the basics. The guys see a large number of smoothbore shotguns, boxes of ammunition, equipment for clay-target shooting, and drone operators attaching special targets to drones so that the trainees can experience realistic attacks and practice hitting a target that is constantly maneuvering. The guys exclaim: "Wow, the state has really taken care of our training before we go on combat missions!"

The instructor quickly brings their enthusiasm down to earth and opens their eyes to reality:
"This here is the 25% we purchased ourselves and what our local authorities provided in response to our requests. And this here is the 75% from Yuri Pavlovych, from TeamYuri! The state has contributed nothing but the order authorizing the shooting exercises!"

Yes, the reality is grim. Far too often, the smoothbore weapons issued to soldiers are completely unsuitable. Far too often, properly functioning state-issued smoothbore shotguns account for only 5–10% of what is actually needed today. As a rule, soldiers are given 12 shotgun shells for combat missions, 25 at most, and no ammunition at all for training.

A soldier who lacks confidence is the biggest problem in today's drone war. Even a highly trained professional faces enormous risks in a combat zone. But if training has been insufficient, if a soldier lacks even some of the necessary equipment, if certain skills have not been practiced until they become automatic, the soldier or the group hides from everyone, switches off their radios, hopes for a miracle—and in 75% of cases, falls victim to enemy groups.

A confident, properly equipped soldier who knows what to do and takes action also faces enormous risks, but has a much better chance of surviving—dozens of times better than a soldier who lacks confidence and equipment. How can we increase a soldier's subjective sense of confidence and multiply their chances of survival even further? Through coordination within a large military formation!!!

Everywhere I see competent offensive operations carried out within a large, cohesive military organization, commanders achieve casualty rates during offensive operations that are just as low as those previously seen in defense! And this is while attacking a numerically superior enemy! Today, heavy losses occur in meeting engagements and during defensive operations, which have also become a practice of intense mutual penetration, with the enemy entering our rear areas and our forces entering theirs. This happens:

Only where soldiers are poorly trained and equipped, and inadequately protected by their own drones, and so on.
Only where the practice of having many small military units operating independently in the same section of the front continues.

Everywhere that work is properly organized within large military formations, we have Vivaldi, and all we need to do is meet smaller needs, because occasional shortcomings are perfectly normal.

Everywhere that work is not properly organized within large military formations, we face serious difficulties—especially where nobody is even thinking about doing things properly and the only response is to throw more people into the fight. There, we are forced simply to rescue the situation, even though we understand that we cannot do everything until the system of military command and military supply changes.

"We need more drones!" This is what we keep hearing from different sections of the front. Over the past month, this has been a constant observation. The enemy has increased its use of drones; there were many enemy troops before, and there are still many. They advance like locusts, and we need more drones to stop them.

We need to spread the successful experience of building large, cohesive military formations of a new type from the units we already have—formations that are comprehensively trained and equipped. If the entire front is not commanded the way the Third Assault is commanded, and does not fight the way the Third Assault fights, very difficult times lie ahead. We need to turn the situation around right now—but not by simply throwing new people into combat zones. A thousand times over, in 2024–2026, we have had the opportunity to see that this does not work by itself! What we need is the deliberate creation of large military formations and their thoughtful deployment!

All our assistance amounts to targeted improvements amid a permanent crisis. I wish that everyone in a position of responsibility, from the very top down to the combat zone, would act as if their own children were fighting at the front and near it—doing everything possible and impossible to preserve their lives and improve the effectiveness of our soldiers!

Friends, I ask you to show humanity too. Let us do everything we can, and we will win!

Friends, we urgently need ammunition for shooting down enemy FPV drones—everything is needed yesterday! We need 16 boxes of ammunition for combat use at 6,670 UAH per box!

We have new requests for Typhoon Quake Combat shotguns at 26,360 UAH each!

We also have a special dream: 2 IWI ARs for the 1st Assault Regiment at 66,000 UAH each!

We believe in the power of Good. HELP!!!

All your donations are matched by Ukrainian sponsors and go toward protecting the best sniper teams and improving their effectiveness!!! It is the beginning of the month, which traditionally brings a huge number of requests. You feel as though you're standing on the edge of an abyss—so I'm asking you: HELP!

The Evolution of Sniper Warfare in Ukraine

Four long years of experience: how sniper warfare — and our support for snipers — has changed. In just one more month, the great russian-Ukrainian war will have lasted as long as the First World War. It was in the furnace of World War I that mass professional sniping was born. During the Russian-Ukrainian war, sniper warfare has undergone its greatest transformation yet — and these changes must be understood again and again. These days also mark four years since we began helping snipers. By then I could no longer fight myself, and countless requests from the front forced me to begin the work of providing grassroots support to units close to my heart. During the first months, starting in May 2022, we helped with ammunition, vehicles, rifles, optics, suppressors — we provided whatever the guys asked for. But even at that early stage, we began concentrating on .338 caliber rifles, mainly Rugers and Savages as affordable but high-quality weapons. We refined every rifle to near perfection,...

We need a different team of generals capable of winning the war

I can confirm that throughout 2023–2024 we suffered enormous losses because of repeated counterattacks to retake tree lines and ruins, and it all followed the same pattern. Our troops occupied advantageous positions and destroyed the enemy as if at a shooting range. Enemy losses were 17–25 times greater than ours. But then someone decided the line on the map wasn't neat enough, and the endless orders began: "straighten the line," "retake the previously lost positions." The result was losses that were impossible to justify, with two consequences. First, the casualty ratio dropped to only three to one. Second, our infantry was often too small in number and disoriented, allowing the enemy to break through not only the "retaken positions" but also the previously stable defensive line where they had earlier failed again and again despite enormous losses. This is how we lost an enormous number of people—so many that, had they been preserved, there would ha...

The main thing in war is to spend resources rationally

Everyone is talking about negotiations, peace and reconstruction. But there is one significant obstacle: Putin wants to continue the war , and if there is a shortage of petrodollars due to Trump's sanctions, he simply started selling gold. Putin will be able to wage a war without an infusion of oil profits at least until spring, and therefore we must prepare for the continuation of the war. The main thing in war is to spend resources rationally , to concentrate resources, because war is the mathematics of resource creation plus the art of resource application. When resources are limited, we must think about stopping waste. 1. First, we need the resignation of our 'Zhukov' Syrskyi , who is losing people in his mini- and macro-operations, irrationally organizing the Armed Forces of Ukraine and because of this, 30-50% more people are dying than would be the case with a normal structure of the troops. And besides, he constantly lies. The other day he said that there are defin...
