All news falls into one of two categories: good news and challenges—and thank God for that!
The good news is this. We have summed up the results of supplying our best sniper teams with top-quality ammunition, and we are pleased that we accomplished far more than we originally planned.
Yet even that proved to be barely enough, because in several corps not only the designated marksmen—who have been doing an outstanding job supporting assault operations—but also the snipers have been performing exceptionally well.
The biggest success has been the .375 caliber Desert Tech rifles: short, lightweight, yet extremely accurate. Compact and precise bullpup systems like these are the future, even in the age of drones. Every extra inch and every extra kilogram becomes a burden in drone warfare. Every extra centimeter creates another camouflage challenge. A precise bullpup is exactly what today's battlefield demands.
Other .375 caliber systems are performing well too, though not nearly as intensively as the Desert Tech rifles.
As for the .338 caliber, the future belongs to accurate semi-automatic rifles—but that ideal system does not yet exist. More precisely, the available options still fall short of what we would like to see.
For now, we continue managing the limitations of the bolt-action systems we have. We have already used more .338 ammunition than we anticipated back in the spring.
The .50 caliber is gradually becoming less relevant. This war has made its marginalization an everyday reality. It is simply too heavy to avoid revealing your position, and that is often a matter of life and death. Drones now handle most anti-equipment missions, while engagements against personnel increasingly call for something other than .50 caliber rifles. The overall trend is toward lighter systems and a gradual transition to different weapons.
Among traditional sniper systems, we continue developing our longest-range .416 caliber platforms, and we already have several projects underway to strengthen this segment.
Overall, the situation is stable. We are maintaining what we already have while gradually introducing new elements—without diverting resources from our highest priority: protecting our guys and girls from enemy drones.
The challenges are these.
From time to time, the enemy strikes the material base of our sniper groups with Shaheds and glide bombs. Rebuilding after such attacks is always difficult for two reasons.
First, a great deal of equipment can be lost. Thank God the rifles themselves usually survive—2023 and 2024 were much worse in that regard. Generators, EcoFlow power stations, ammunition reserves, and other essential equipment are destroyed, and replacing everything quickly is never easy.
Second, some groups face a different kind of problem: the guys often refuse to say what was lost. They take out loans and try to replace everything themselves. Thankfully, we have built a system of double and even triple verification. Photos and videos of the aftermath allow us to press them until they finally admit what was destroyed and what must be replaced first.
Good news motivates us like a carrot held out in front of us. Challenges drive us forward like a whip.
That is how we keep working—non-stop, without weekends or holidays. It is an enormous amount of work that never stops.
We ask for your help in protecting our guys and girls from enemy drones. Your support is as vital as water in the desert. It also allows us to secure matching support from our Ukrainian sponsors, bringing more good news and helping us overcome every new challenge.
Right now, we urgently need:
π 12 Typhoon Quake shotguns at 26,360 UAH each, three Typhoon Sierra shotguns at 30,456 UAH each for National Guard, assault troops, Air Assault Forces, and artillery units.
π 4 Hatsan BTS shotguns at 17,520 UAH each for repair and medical evacuation teams.
π Holosun thermal super-collimators at 89,640 UAH each. We have seven urgent requests for them. Everyone is absolutely thrilled with these because they provide outstanding protection against drones at night!
πShotgun ammunition at 6,760 UAH per box of 250 rounds. The requests are endless!
Please help!!! Every donation will be matched by our Ukrainian sponsors, allowing us to purchase even more of the equipment requested by our snipers and the men and women fighting alongside them!!!
