The need to form armies based on brigades like the Third Assault Brigade is already ripe

The Ukrainian Army needs a transformational rebranding so that people don’t believe in it abstractly, but want to go and serve.

The need to form armies based on brigades like the Third Assault Brigade is already ripe. While the state leadership is thinking about the Third Assault Corps, we already need the Third Assault Army. The brigade headquarters will cope with the inclusion of 10-12 brigades in such an army. The Azov Army should be created in the same way.

There should be 10-12, or even 20, such armies right now, they should become the striking force of the renewed Armed Forces of Ukraine. All powers should be transferred to the level of such armies as much as possible, based on the presumption: the command of such armies will use resources in the best way and without bureaucracy!
Such armies should have the right to select people, reserve people at enterprises that they need in the rear, a flexible staffing schedule, a system of bonuses for the successful completion of a combat mission.

The new army should be a success story, and this is possible with the maximum transfer of resources to these armies: you cannot win a war with scattered forces, you need to invest in creating a qualitative advantage everywhere, and in the right areas - to achieve a quantitative advantage.

Those who are unable to serve at the front should be mobilized into rear brigades, which would dig defense lines in the rear for the armies under the control of professionals. This would solve the problem of where to give everyone who cannot take up arms: let them take up a shovel.

We are not waiting for reforms. In all parts of the renewed army, we have sniper units according to American methods. We support their combat readiness, and most importantly - we are constantly strengthening them!

And now we need to complete the super-collection for the best scopes, help us do it!!!
1. The March Genesis 6x-60x56 super-scope for 7,500 euros has already been bought!

2. Schmidt & Bender 5-45x56 on Desert Tech in 375 caliber, it's 5,000 euros, there are 4,000 euros, we only need 1000 euros! Let's continue!

3. We need to collect another 85,000 UAH for the Nightforce ATACR 7-35x56 scope!

The Evolution of Sniper Warfare in Ukraine

Four long years of experience: how sniper warfare — and our support for snipers — has changed. In just one more month, the great russian-Ukrainian war will have lasted as long as the First World War. It was in the furnace of World War I that mass professional sniping was born. During the Russian-Ukrainian war, sniper warfare has undergone its greatest transformation yet — and these changes must be understood again and again. These days also mark four years since we began helping snipers. By then I could no longer fight myself, and countless requests from the front forced me to begin the work of providing grassroots support to units close to my heart. During the first months, starting in May 2022, we helped with ammunition, vehicles, rifles, optics, suppressors — we provided whatever the guys asked for. But even at that early stage, we began concentrating on .338 caliber rifles, mainly Rugers and Savages as affordable but high-quality weapons. We refined every rifle to near perfection,...

What problems our snipers have and how we can help

There are many questions to me about the situation at the front, what problems our snipers have and how we can help. 1. The first main problem is Rubicon. Something like our Unmanned Systems Forces, but they work not only from the rear, but also directly at the front, destroying everything they detect from the line of combat contact 10 km into our rear. They also partially reach targets further than 10 km. All this is achieved due to the unlimited provision of Rubicon with all types of drones and all types of weapons necessary for such units. If our command had a desire to win the war , several decisions would have been made that have long been necessary: 1A. We need to direct units of professionals to destroy Rubicon , providing them with unlimited resources. 1B. We need to provide brigades with drones , against which Rubicon operates, not according to e-points and previously achieved results, but unlimitedly. The same goes for electronic warfare and radar reconnaissance. 1C....

Why we train marksmen and not invest everything exclusively at the longest-range sniper groups

I am asked why we train marksmen, invest time and resources, and not throw everything exclusively at sniper groups fighting with the longest-range rifles? Today I came across an interesting testimony from the front. Svyatoslav Yavorivsky ( slavko.yavir on fb): "The effectiveness of shooting with an AK-74 or AR-15 at 300-400 m is practically zero, and cartridges cost money. A machine gun firing point immediately becomes a target for drones.  No one has canceled infantry combat, but we need to return to the good old mass sniping, that is, marksmen. The Finns once completely demoralized the Red Army in this way. A detachment of stormtroopers should be supported by one machine gun and two marksmen (local accurate separate shooters). This is not a sniper with a two-meter "paddle" of large caliber, but an accurate shooter at 400-500 m, with a semi-automatic rifle, who supports defensive combat or assault from cover. The Americans have been doing this for a long time. To train...
