I don’t see anything new in Zaluzhnyi’s article.
In 2023, it became clear that the situation had followed the scenario of the Iran-Iraq war, and that a major war would drag on for many years, becoming a war where you need the ability to endure everything and get through, weakening the enemy.
The fact that everything was going to such a scenario and everyone would have to fight was first started by the fighters, and we said back in 2022.
At the same time, we came to the following conclusions.
1. We need to mobilize the rear to support the front not only as completely as russia does with its theories of permanent mobilization, but more intensively.
The schemes of Yermak-Mindich-Umerov and Co. were totally harmful, because they inhibited 1) innovation and 2) scaling.
The one who finds innovation points and pours in resources wins, we could have 10-15 Rubicons by now, and we would be fighting in Tula and Voronezh, and not whining about a war for a long time.
2. We need to protect people and reach a ratio of losses of 1 to 20, - Syrskyi with his assaults on plantings led to unjustified losses, permissible only in a short war, and this happened because Zelenskyy and Yermak aligned the lines on the maps.
3. We need to transfer the war to the enemy's territory, but a war of asymmetric strikes. Burning of oil refineries, dozens of "Spiderweb" operations every month - only a total war of a new type in the depths of russia would not allow the war to drag on.
I don't know why only now is understanding of elementary things coming. Another thing is scary - that many people in the leadership of the state and the army do not understand this!!!
Indeed, I read the review of Larisa Voloshyna (lolawolsh on FB), that what Zaluzhnyy wrote is the thoughts of a politician, and it is more sensible than anything that all Ukrainian politicians have published before.
But these are obvious things that I have written and said dozens of times, often in more detail than now in three points.
Once again - we can win, we can overcome stalemates and the situation of a war of attrition, we can and should defeat the enemy in his lair.
But for this, the whole country needs to fight like Magyar or like the SBU on the day of the Operation Spiderweb - every day!
This means rejecting political populism and completely focusing exclusively on Victory.
And this is the only way for Ukraine to survive!
Friends, and I have a request:
let's protect snipers from drones, especially since the donations are doubling thanks to the Dutch Lion!!!

Four long years of experience: how sniper warfare — and our support for snipers — has changed. In just one more month, the great russian-Ukrainian war will have lasted as long as the First World War. It was in the furnace of World War I that mass professional sniping was born. During the Russian-Ukrainian war, sniper warfare has undergone its greatest transformation yet — and these changes must be understood again and again. These days also mark four years since we began helping snipers. By then I could no longer fight myself, and countless requests from the front forced me to begin the work of providing grassroots support to units close to my heart. During the first months, starting in May 2022, we helped with ammunition, vehicles, rifles, optics, suppressors — we provided whatever the guys asked for. But even at that early stage, we began concentrating on .338 caliber rifles, mainly Rugers and Savages as affordable but high-quality weapons. We refined every rifle to near perfection,...
