Why it is still important to support Ukrainian snipers and our plans in this direction

During the 2.5 years of our volunteer activity, we have achieved a lot.
365 sniper complexes, of which 70 are the most long-range!!!
345 optical scopes,
70 thermal imaging scopes!
More than 400 thousand cartridges! And all the time we think about the level of efficiency of our activity and concentrate on what has the greatest practical benefit today.

In general, the war now requires the training of a large number of drone operators and stormtroopers, providing them with everything necessary. Snipers and sniper-reconnaissance and sniper-sabotage groups cannot be used everywhere.

Today, their effective use is possible on 30% of the battle line. We try to ensure that our guys and girls do not become operators of drones and stormtroopers - which sometimes happens - but move to this 30% of the front and work effectively there, destroying the manpower and equipment of the enemy.

We have reduced the number of young snipers we train. Today, we have a certain balance and we will not take out more sniper groups, because resources are becoming less and less. We sometimes train young snipers for already existing groups, but this is no longer a mass phenomenon, the state and allies cope with it perfectly.

We sometimes conduct advanced training of snipers who have already fought and have some experience and would like to achieve a new quality in their work. But we also have fewer and fewer of them - we have mostly already trained everyone.

We reduced the purchase of sniper rifles of our main caliber - 338LM - because there are less and less groups where there is still a shortage of such weapons. Basically, we or the state provided for everyone who really needed it. We have also reduced the purchase of cover sniper rifles of 308 and other calibers and only buy them if very highly professional groups of long-range snipers ask for them, which rarely happens, because we or the state have already basically issued everything to everyone.

We are actively engaged in buying up all available 375 caliber rifles, because not all highly professional snipers have received them yet. But we can already see that we will literally buy a dozen new 375 rifles - and we will stop buying them, because mostly our guys and girls will have them in sufficient quantity. Right now we need 3 Cadex rifles for 12,000 each, they will go to a professional group of special forces champions. We also want to buy a few more Desert Tech rifles for €14,000. And we also have a unique opportunity to buy 4 barrels for Cadex rifles and upgrade old rifles that have been on the front since day one.

We are actively engaged in super scopes. First, they are needed for the super rifles that we buy back or that were issued by the government or bought by the snipers themselves. Second, the scope is a vulnerable point in sniper weapons, enemy shrapnel statistically destroys various scopes from time to time and we provide new ones.

We actively buy cartridges, as well as cartridge cases, gunpowder, and bullets. We significantly reduced the purchase of new cartridges of 338 caliber, because the cartridge made in the workshops of combat brigades is both more accurate and cheaper. Now we will need to buy 5,000 bullets of 338 caliber, and we will try to do it - a hundred of such bullets costs $150.

We direct our main efforts to the purchase of .375 cartridges and their components. Right now we can buy 10,000 375 caliber cases, 5,000 bullets and 7,000 ready cartridges.

Our forecast for the future is simple.

1. Most likely, the war will continue until 2027, because Putin is not going to stop in his actions in Ukraine and in his global hybrid war against the West.

2. Even if the war stops at the beginning of 2025, in any case, it is profitable to arm the best sniper groups as much as possible and create stocks of the longest-range sniper cartridges.

Minimizing the overall support of the sniper movement and concentrating on the 375 caliber, limiting the purchase of rifles in the future to 10 pieces, the maximum investment in stocks of 375 cartridges - all this is a well-thought-out strategy that takes into account the realities of war and everything we have done to date.

In addition to the 375 caliber, projects related to no less long-range rifles of the 416 caliber, which are very promising and have already justified our investments with concrete results on the battlefield in the East and the South, will receive some support from us. This particular project will be limited in size, there are currently 4 such rifles, and we may be able to double or triple the number.

Do I regret that we will invest less and less in sniper training, limit our weapons plans to only super rifles in a certain small number, and concentrate on supporting existing sniper groups with mainly ammo?

No, I am happy to see the huge results of our activities and I understand that there is a certain limit to efficiency. Namely, this day will come, maybe even in the middle of summer, if the war continues, when I will say: everyone who respects me - go ahead with the drones! Because we will basically be able to do everything that is really necessary for the snipers, and the further purchase of weapons will no longer be effective.

But for now, I see where the highly professional, most effective sniper groups have weak points, where it is possible to make something useful with concentrated help no less than with drones - and I will do it.

I call on everyone who cares to support our snipers!

We are currently focusing our assistance on three areas.

👉Kurshchyna, very good guys and girls, we close their requests in priority order, especially if it is the Special Operations Forces or the Steel Border (Stalevyi Kordon).

👉Toretsk, the glorious warriors of the Carpathian Sich and Special Forces need our support.

👉Our snipers near Pokrovsk - the situation there is difficult, we will provide maximum help to everyone who needs it.

So far, we have strengthened the South as much as possible, but we are ready to help them in the future.

Cadex CDX-40 Shadow cal. 375 CheyTac has proven to be a reliable weapon

We first ordered Cadex CDX-40 Shadow 375 CheyTac super rifles in December 2022 . Before that, we limited ourselves to 338LM rifles, perfected them, provided good cartridges, and were satisfied that our trained snipers hit the enemy at a distance of 1,800-2,000 meters. We also actively provided 50 BMG rifles, appreciating the opportunity to hit the enemy with armor-piercing cartridges. But throughout the fall of 2022, the best snipers asked us to buy 375-caliber rifles, and we began to buy Cadex CDX-40 Shadow cal rifles. .375 CheyTac. First, we bought back a few batches of rifles that the Ibis store brought in for us. Second, we bought some relatively new rifles second hand. Third, we brought some rifles from abroad. Fourth, in one of the batches of Cadex CDX-40 Shadow rifles cal. 375 CheyTac from the Ibis store added spare barrels - and we bought old Cadex rifles off hand and replaced the barrels with new ones. We were satisfied with the results. The rifles had different barrels, but i...

M200 is a weapon specifically for use in war

Among the .375 super rifles, snipers love the CheyTac Firearms M200 Intervention rifle with a 29-inch barrel. This weapon is a bit crudely made, but is generally reliable after a little tweaking. We replace unreliable bipods with bipods of our own design, provide special mufflers. The rifle, brought to perfection with a good cartridge, shoots at a distance of up to 2700 meters, providing reliable hits. Of course, the M200 must be protected from the wrong cartridge, because even such a rifle can be broken. But in general, this is a weapon specifically for use in war , so it has a margin of safety and justifies every hryvnia that was paid for it. We consistently supply the best .375 caliber cartridges for these rifles. And we buy cartridges, which we manage to get again and again. We are also buying bullets - and now we are creating a certain stock, because we doubt that we will be able to bring them after January 20. Now we already have bullets of 375 caliber, which will last until the ...

Victrix Tormento of the .375 CheyTac caliber with a barrel length of 30 inches

I continue the story about the super rifles of the .375 CheyTac caliber. So next up is the Victrix Tormento of the .375 CheyTac caliber with a barrel length of 30 inches. Bonus - I'll tell about Viсtrix Throne too. These super rifles work perfectly in front-line conditions at distances of up to 2700-2800 meters. However, their operation requires the sniper and his assistants to be extremely careful. The bolt group is the weak point of all Victrix rifles. Because of this, we never buy Victrix in 308 and 338 calibers, and we stopped buying Victrix in 50 BMG caliber. Due to the weakness of the bolt, problems may arise with an overdose of gunpowder. Also, the design of the striker is such that it can pierce the primer too deeply and capture part of the primer inside the bolt, which will lead to the need for repair if the bolt is not disassembled and cleaned immediately. Also, the springs inside the bolt fail and have to be replaced. If the barrel were longer, there would be no such pro...
